Overwatch – Competitive Season 4 – Solo-Healing or Solo Player

One thing I’ve noticed while solo queue in Competitive is that the One-Trick Pony exists well within Competitive. One game, I decided to do Lucio for one round and got close to 6 minutes objective time on Lucio, but one player on our team wanted Lucio back.

When:

  1. You swap and do immensely better on Lucio, yet they want to stick with using Lucio more, but the entire round crumbles (Note, that this was the third round of Lijiang Tower, so it became a defeat after we lost 2 to the same team composition).
  2. One-Trick Ponies exist throughout Competitive and it’s not going to change.

Instead of continuing in Season 4, I might do a Character breakdown of what I do in each instance, because going in blindly as is, I might not even go back up in SR, but decrease back to where I was originally when I placed in Season 3.

Unless I’m grouped with friends, that’s what I mainly would do. Anyway, if you guys want, feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments below.

Deck Combo #1 – Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft – Druid

Deck Combo #1 – Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft – Druid

What I was willing to try to do is set-up a deck around Jades for Druid. Unknowingly, I set-up a pretty nasty combo within the deck to ensure victory at times.

  • Fandral Staghelm
  • Mana: 4
  • Power: 3
  • Health: 5
  • Effect: Your Choose One cards have both effects combined.

With:

  • Gadgetzan Auctioneer
  • Mana: 6
  • Power: 4
  • Health: 4
  • Effect: When you cast a Spell, draw a card.

And:

  • Jade Idol
  • Mana: 1
  • Spell: Choose One: Summon a Jade Golem; or Shuffle 3 copies of this card into your Deck.

When you activate Jade Idol with Fandral Staghelm out, you can get a 1/1 creature and shuffle 3 copies of Jade Idol into your Deck. With Gadgetzan Auctioneer out, you can draw a card off activating Jade Idol, and if you do draw into Jade Idol, since it only costs 1 mana, you can activate it as long as you have enough Mana to cast Jade Idol repeatedly. A 1/1 Jade Idol becomes a 2/2 and if the combo continues, it becomes what’s shown in the Featured Image:

  • Choose One: Summon a 16/16 Jade Golem; or Shuffle 3 copies of this card into your Deck.

Update #5 – Hearthstone

Update #5 – Hearthstone

Regardless, I’m going to try to get posts done back in Update #4, because there’s an unofficial patch for Borderlands that I do want to touch up on.

  • New games
    • NieR: Automata
    • Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft
    • The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
